This 1984 Penn Yan 260 Open Fisherman was 99% restored over the last 3 years. The boat recieved new stringers and a new transom core, The exterior was professionally refinished with single stage polyurethane paint above the waterline. including the interior, excepting the non-skid liner. All thru hulls above and below the waterline were replaced with bronze units, The boat has three 2500 GPH bilge pumps and a new freshwater washdown pump, all wiring except the short engine harness was replaced, all new fuel fill and feed lines. the cooling system work included new exhaust manifolds, rebuilt seawater pump, new circulation pump, and all cooling hoses replaced. 2 new 27 series marine batteries and selector switch and 2/0 battery cables were replaced. The list of mechanical systems renewed is extensive and I havent even scratched the surface as to what was done, if you have further questions, you can contact me through Email and Ill send you my cell phone #. This boat has a fair amount of teak trim which was removed, stripped, and refinished with Cetol, new cockpit coaming pads were installed, along with a new convertible top custom made of Aqualon material.A new all stainless morse style dual lever control was added along with new Honda extreme control cables, this setup is as smooth as hydraulic controls. There is an extra 17 x 16 Nibral prop with a few dings included, as I bought this for a spare. The work that still needs to be compleated is a headliner and hull covering for the cuddy, also the head needs a new holding tank and hoses installed, Ill do this work for a buyer once the boat is paid for and also include inside winter storage as part of the deal When I put it in winter storage the motor had about 800 hours on the meter. This is a sweet running boat that cruises at 28 MPH @ 3100 rpm and tops out at 38 MPH at a bit over 4100 rpm The trailer is in good shape, tires are almost new, I used it for about a 35 mile haul to the lake and for storage, I dont think I would haul it cross country as its a bit narrow for the boat, This boat is heavy as I used a 2500 Chevy to haul it, and you definitely know its behind you.

Electronics include a Koden CVS 801, Sitex CVS 106, both with bronze thru hull transducers, A Garmin GPS map 162, and a new Uniden DSC capable VHF. Also, the boat has a Powerwinch 35 class freefall windlass, and a new 200 foot rode with Acco chain, which makes anchoring and pulling a flip of a toggle switch.

As almost all the pics were taken during the refit, they are not the best, If SERIOUSLY interested Ill get current pics and add them here or email them to you

$17000 obo
